The gunners of the Vostok group of forces destroyed a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the South Donetsk direction. This was announced on August 23 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

In the forest belt in the South Donetsk direction, the scouts identified an equipped enemy stronghold. According to the coordinates transmitted from the UAVs, the artillery crews of the Vostok group of forces struck. After the defeat of the fortifications, the enemy began to panic.

Attempts to leave the positions turned the Ukrainian units into a convenient target for artillery. As a result of the strikes, the stronghold was destroyed along with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, on August 22, calculations of FPV drones of the Rubicon Advanced Unmanned Technology Testing Center destroyed a T-72 tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the special operation zone. The ministry clarified that Russian intelligence had discovered a Ukrainian tank in a wooded area near the village of Torskoye in the Rubtsovsky direction. The coordinates of the target were transferred to the combat crews of the Rubicon center.
