Representatives of the PRC refused to provide the UK with all plans for the construction of a new Chinese embassy in London and to disclose drawings with "gray zones". This was reported on August 22 by the Financial Times (FT) newspaper.

It is noted that representatives of China called the question of details "inappropriate." According to officials, the data already provided is quite sufficient, and they comply with the standards.

It is expected that the future embassy in Britain will have an area of 2 hectares and will become the largest of the buildings of the Chinese diplomatic missions in Europe. Its territory will be located next to the Tower of London.
