US President Donald Trump has admitted that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky may be inconclusive. He told reporters at the White House on August 22.

"You understand that I wanted to meet with both of them. I could be at this meeting, but many people think that nothing will come of this meeting," the American leader said.
