An important part of the anniversary events will be the holding of the first open meeting of the Council for the Development of the Brewing Industry, established on the initiative and under the auspices of Baltika. The event will be attended by Chairman of the Board, founder of Baltika Taimuraz Bolloev, CEO of Efes Brewing Company (AB InBev Efes JSC) Nikolay Tyurnikov, Dmitry Kiselyov, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia.

New members are also expected to join the Board. The purpose of the Board's activities in the company was to formulate principles for the development of the beer and alcohol industry in Russia and create favorable conditions for the development of the industry.

In 2024, Baltika became Russian again and began to revive the traditions of domestic brewing. By the end of 2024, production amounted to 236 million decaliters, and the company took 12th place in the ranking of the top 40 global beer producers, overtaking all German brewers. As a result, Russia displaced Germany from fifth place in the world ranking of beer production.

On July 22, the German edition of Handelsblatt reported that Russia took the fifth place in the world ranking of beer producers, displacing Germany in the list. It is specified that beer production in Russia increased by 9% to 9.1 billion liters. At the same time, in Germany, the indicator fell by 1% to 8.4 billion liters. Germany lost its title of European champion in beverage production, which was awarded to the country since 2013.
