5.0 magnitude aftershock occurred in Kamchatka

An aftershock of magnitude 5.0 was recorded in Kamchatka. This was reported on August 22 in the Telegram channel of the Kamchatka branch of the FIT of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

It is specified that the seismic event was registered at a distance of 220 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky at 3:57 local time (18:57 Moscow time). The epicenter of the aftershock was at a depth of 59.6 km.
