Another sculpture "an eagle tormenting a snake" appeared on the streets of Zheleznovodsk (Stavropol Territory). An art object in the form of a bird was placed near the Ostrovsky baths, the mayor of the city, Yevgeny Bakulin, said in his Telegram.

"The plot of the sculpture reflects the main legend about how a proud bird was able to heal a wound from a snake bite with the help of a mineral spring. The eagle soared up, saw the snake, rushed at it and began to torment it," wrote the mayor.

According to him, the eagle has long been established as a symbol of the strength of the Caucasian Mineral Waters, and the snake represented the ailments and diseases overcome by these healing waters.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency, there are three more eagle sculptures in the city. All of them are located in the Resort Park.

Earlier it was reported that a chapel of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker is planned to be built next to the Ostrovsky baths in Zheleznovodsk. The Church of the Intercession used to be located there, but it was destroyed.
