The calculations of the FPV drones of the Rubicon Advanced Unmanned Technology Testing Center destroyed the T-72 tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the special operation zone. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on August 22.

The ministry clarified that Russian intelligence had discovered a Ukrainian tank in a wooded area near the village of Torskoye in the Rubtsovsky direction. The coordinates of the target were transferred to the combat crews of the Rubicon center.

"With a series of precise strikes, operators of the KVN FPV drones of the Rubicon center successfully hit the AFU combat vehicle," the report added.

Unmanned platforms with electronic warfare systems are on duty in firing positions, suppressing enemy UAVs and saving the lives of gun crews.

Earlier that day, the Russian army destroyed German-made Leopard tanks and T-72 APU tanks in the area of the village of Podoli in the Kupyansk area of the special operation. It was noted that smoke from tanks was observed by means of objective monitoring, followed by their complete burnout.
