Heavy trucks were banned from entering the territory of Yessentuki
Heavy trucks will be barred from entering the territory of Yessentuki from September 10. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of the city Vladimir Krutnikov.
Trucks weighing more than 3.5 tons are subject to restrictions. 27 warning signs will be installed in the resort. Violators will be punished with a fine of 5,000 rubles.
The passage of trucks will be prohibited from the North-Western bypass of Pyatigorsk, the Mineralnye Vody — Kislovodsk highway and the entrance to Yessentuki from Nikolskaya and Gayevsky streets.
According to the StavropolMedia news agency, the ban was introduced to reduce congestion, stress on the road surface and improve the environmental well-being of the Stavropol health resort.
Earlier it was reported that a bus service was launched between Lugansk and Yessentuki. Flights have been operating from the beginning of April every other day from both cities.
