More than 1.2 million people attended the Tastes of Russia festival at VDNH

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut visited the Flavors of Russia gastronomic festival at VDNH. The event is taking place in the capital for the fourth time.

The festival has already become a tradition, the mayor of the capital noted in the MACH messenger. Sobyanin stressed that more than 1.2 million people had become guests of the venue during the week. Culinary, creative and craft workshops are open to visitors. In addition, the venue hosts performances by folk groups and folk ensembles.

This year, the organizers of the festival paid special attention to the educational program, the mayor noted. "For the first time, the city of professions of the agroindustrial complex "I'm in Agro" was located at the festival, where guests can get acquainted with modern professions, technologies and innovations in agriculture in an interactive format," Sobyanin said.

The Tastes of Russia Festival takes place on August 14-24 as part of the Summer in Moscow project. Its participants were manufacturers from Altai and Kamchatka territories, Murmansk and Tula regions, Tatarstan and other regions.
