As a result of an accident in the Orel region, four people were killed, three of them are employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service (UFSIN). This was announced on August 22 by the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

"As a result of the accident, four people were killed, three of them are employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Orel region," the message posted on the Telegram channel says.

According to the agency, as a result of the incident, a criminal case was opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles"). The circumstances of the incident are being established.
