A child died and a 53-year-old woman was injured due to a fire in Tula. This was reported on August 22 in the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"The fire occurred in a private apartment building on Mikhailovskaya Street in Tula. A few minutes later, the first fire and rescue units arrived at the scene. <...> A seven-year-old child was killed and a 53—year-old woman was injured," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is noted that the woman was taken to the hospital with burns. 18 people and six pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. It is known that the fire was completely eliminated. The fire area was 150 sq. m.

Two people died on August 20 in a fire in a private house in the Chekhov municipal district of the Moscow region. 25 specialists and nine pieces of equipment were involved in the liquidation. As a result, a fire broke out on an area of 144 sq. m. m was extinguished. According to preliminary information, the fire was caused by an emergency operation of the power grid.
