At a meeting in Washington, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke out against all the principles that were proposed by American leader Donald Trump to resolve the conflict. This was announced on August 22 by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with NBC News.
"It was very clear to everyone that there are several principles that Washington believes should be accepted, including no membership in NATO...> discussion of territorial issues, and Zelensky said no to all this," Lavrov said.
