As a result of an accident involving a regular bus near the village of Spisski Hrushov in Slovakia, one person was killed and 10 others were injured. This was reported on August 22 by the Slovak newspaper Pravda, citing local authorities.
"According to preliminary data, 10 people were injured at the scene, four of them are in serious condition. The bus went into a ditch next to a tree," the publication says.
According to the representative of the regional fire and rescue service in Kosice, Josef Balint, rescue services are at the scene, as well as two fire brigades. Traffic on the road at the accident site is difficult in both directions.
On August 18, it was reported that a bus overturned on the Northern Marble Highway in Istanbul. As a result of the incident, three people were killed and 20 others were injured. They were taken to the nearest hospitals for medical treatment. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
