The Russian army has attacked the temporary deployment point of the third Special Operations Forces regiment The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) "Vostok" in Sumy region. This was announced on Friday, August 22, by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"As a result of reconnaissance activities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, a temporary deployment point of the third regiment of the MTR of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Vostok" was discovered in a forest area near the settlement of Staraya Guta, Sumy region," the report says.

It is clarified that the command decided to launch an air strike against the target of the Russian Military Space Forces (VKS) using the FAB-500 aerial bomb with a universal planning and correction module. As a result of the airstrike, the enemy's temporary deployment point was successfully hit.
