The Russian Armed Forces liberated nine settlements in a week

Over the past week, Russian troops have liberated seven settlements in the Donetsk People's Republic and two in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on August 22.

The ministry reported that units of the Zapad group of forces liberated the village of Kolodezi, the Southern group advanced into the depths of the enemy's defenses and liberated Alexandro-Shultino and Katerinovka.

In addition, the Center group continued its offensive operations and liberated Sukhetskoye, Pankovka, Vladimirovka and Rusin Yar, while the Vostok units liberated Voronoye and Novogeorgievka in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

On the same day, it was reported that during the week, six group strikes were carried out against military installations and energy infrastructure related to the military-industrial complex (MIC) of Ukraine. It was clarified that as a result of the strikes by the Russian Army, an oil refinery supplying fuel to groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Donbass, storage depots for Sapsan tactical missiles, UAVs, fuel and other weapons were also hit.
