Six people have died and 10 are missing after a rope broke on a bridge in China.
As a result of the breakage of a construction rope on the Jianzhi Bridge over the Yellow River in China, six people were killed and 10 more were missing. This was reported on August 22 by the Sichuan daily newspaper Sichuan Daily Network.

The incident occurred on Friday night, August 22, at a section of the Sichuan-Qinghai Railway under construction. At the time of the rope break, 16 workers were at the scene.

Earlier, on August 6, five people died when a suspension bridge collapsed in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwestern China. It was clarified that 24 more people were injured. The injuries of two victims were called serious, and 22 more people received minor injuries.
