Two children and three adults were injured in an accident near Vologda. This was announced on August 22 in the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

"On the 4th km of the Vologda –Norobovo highway, a driver born in 1954, driving a UAZ car, moving from the city of Vologda towards the village of Mozhaiskoe, lost control and drove into a ditch," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

The causes and circumstances of the accident are being established. Traffic police officers are working at the site.

On the same day, one person was seriously injured in an accident on the 81st km of the MKAD in Moscow. Two more victims were hospitalized in moderate condition. Three ambulance crews, a disaster medicine center and an aviation medical team were working at the site.
