One person was killed and another was injured in an accident involving an electric train in the village of Dorozhnoye in the Guryevsky district of the Kaliningrad region. This was announced on August 22 in the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

"According to preliminary information, the driver of a Mercedes minibus drove to a forbidding traffic light at a railway crossing, where there was a collision with a moving electric train," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the incident occurred at about 09:30 local time (10:30 Moscow time). Traffic police officers are carrying out activities aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
