Alcohol sales are being prepared to be restricted in the Sverdlovsk region

In the Sverdlovsk region, the time for selling alcoholic beverages may be reduced in the near future. The relevant project is being discussed in the regional government.

If the initiative is approved, it will be possible to buy alcoholic beverages strictly between 8:00 and 20:00 on weekdays. Stricter restrictions will be introduced for weekends and holidays. This is reported by the news agency " <url>" with reference to an informed source.

He clarified that the region has poor indicators of alcohol consumption and mortality from it. The final decision on the project will be made no earlier than September.
