Rain gardens will appear in the Perm river valley

Rain gardens are being built in Perm in the valley of the Danilikha River. They will appear on two sections of the valley. The city authorities are now looking for a contractor to carry out the work. Their cost is estimated at 4.3 million rubles.

As stated in the terms of reference on the public procurement website, it is necessary to carry out work on the arrangement of the water-green infrastructure for the disposal of surface wastewater in the public territories of the Green Ring project.

Rain gardens will be located in Kamenskiye Square and near the Central Market, near the tram bridge. The work will take place from September 15 to November 15, 2025, writes the news agency " <url>".

Rain gardens are artificial or natural depressions in the ground for collecting and purifying rainwater.

Earlier it was reported that the Perm authorities decided to unify public toilets in the city. The relevant draft decision was considered at a meeting of the Committee on Landscaping of the Perm City Duma.
