Participants of the tenth anniversary Eastern Economic Forum will be greeted at the Far Eastern Federal University campus by new facilities that form the patriotic and educational space of Russian Island. On the way to the Far East Street exhibition, the Far Eastern Federal District's Walk of Fame dedicated to the heroes of the special military operation will be opened, and the main landmark on the campus will be a giant Russian tricolor with an area of more than 150 square meters.

"The Eastern Economic Forum is not only a platform for presenting the most pressing topics of economic and social development, as well as proposals for developing new business support measures and programs aimed at improving people's quality of life. This is a point of public attention. This year our country celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. We remember the feat of our fathers and grandfathers who shed their blood for the freedom and independence of our country and the whole world, we remember the home front workers who worked around the clock so that our country defeated the enemy and had a peaceful sky over our heads. The memory of battles, heroism and courage is necessary. This is the foundation of the entire Russian state. Russia is currently conducting a special military operation. Our guys on the front line continue to defend their family, friends, and country. They need our support. Volunteers are bringing humanitarian aid from the Far Eastern regions. Far Eastern builders are rebuilding Donbass. Far Eastern Federal District enterprises produce machinery and equipment that go to the front. Doctors and teachers are traveling to new regions. It depends on all of us how quickly we win," said Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum.

The Walk of Fame consists of 7 three-dimensional steles dedicated to 53 servicemen of the Eastern Military District who were awarded the Gold Star of the Hero of the Russian Federation. On the steles, the participants of the WEF will be able to find information about the exploits performed by the warriors of the Far East. Detailed stories of the characters will be published in a special section on the university's website. The official opening of the Walk of Fame will take place during the Forum.

"The alley is located on the way from the venue of the business part of the WEF to the "Street of the Far East", so most of the guests will have the opportunity to learn about the exploits of the heroes of the Far East. And after the Forum, the Walk of Fame will become an integral element of the educational process for first–year students – there will be open classes on patriotic education and a course on the basics of Russian statehood," said FEFU Rector Boris Korobets.

The FEFU campus will be dominated by the national flag of Russia, one of the largest in the Far East. The tricolor can be seen from the Russian Bridge, the mainland of the city and the waters of Vladivostok – it will become not only one of the main symbols of the FEFU campus, but also an iconic landmark of the city.

It should be recalled that the landscaped park area of the FEFU campus includes an island of untouched nature in the middle of one of the most modern student campuses in Russia. The forest area of the Primorsky taiga has been preserved here, there are ponds with wild ducks and a picturesque waterfall. The main attraction of the park is the 1,200–meter-long University Embankment along Ajax Bay, which houses pavilions from all regions of the Far Eastern Federal District - the Far East Street exhibition. The work on the improvement of the FEFU campus for the tenth anniversary Eastern Economic Forum is at the final stage, they will be fully completed by August 25.

The tenth Eastern Economic Forum will be held on September 3-6 in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The main theme of this year's event is "The Far East: Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity." The WEF is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
