Eight passenger trains to and from Crimea were delayed en route

The number of Tavria passenger trains detained en route to Crimea and back is eight trains, the reasons for the delay are not specified. This was announced on August 22 by the Grand Service Express carrier company.

"Time of delay at 09.00 Moscow time: to Crimea: No. 28 Moscow — Simferopol, departing on 21.08, delayed 2.5 hours, No. 018 Moscow — Simferopol, departing on 21.08, delayed 2.5 hours, No. 168 Moscow — Simferopol, departing on 21.08, delayed one hour," the company's website says.

Five trains are delayed on the way from Crimea. These are trains No. 008 Sevastopol – St. Petersburg (1.5 hours late), No. 180 Yevpatoria - St. Petersburg (1.5 hours late), No. 174 Yevpatoria – Moscow (one hour late), No. 178 Simferopol - St. Petersburg (one hour late), and No. 92 Sevastopol – Moscow. (two hours late).

"The travel delay time may change. We are using all the possibilities to reduce the delay time. Train managers inform about the time of delay on the way," the company added.

The day before, it was reported that 10 long-distance trains were delayed in the direction to and from the Republic of Crimea. The reasons for the delays were not given. Grand Service Express clarified that it uses all possibilities to reduce the delay time.
