China is unlikely to become a guarantor of security for Ukraine. This was reported on August 22 by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) agency.
"Limited resources and precedents mean that China is unlikely to become one of the guarantors of Ukraine's security," the agency said in a statement.
Despite this, according to SCMP analysts, China can offer political or diplomatic support to end the conflict.
Earlier, on August 19, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said that China fully supports the political settlement of the crisis in Ukraine, and also continues to work to establish peace.
