After the wreckage of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) fell, a fire started in Volgograd. This was announced on August 22 by the press service of the regional administration in the Telegram channel.
"Due to the fall of UAV debris in the south of the city — in the area of Udmurtskaya and Jack London streets — local fires of dry vegetation have occurred," said Governor Andrei Bocharov.
Fire crews are working at the scene. There are no casualties.
The head of the region noted that a massive drone attack is currently being reflected in the Volgograd region.
A day earlier, the air defense forces shot down two UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). over the Belgorod and Rostov regions. It is noted that the attack attempt was stopped between 16:50 and 17:35 Moscow time.
