In the Iki-Burulsky district of Kalmykia, a man was killed in an accident involving a LADA passenger car, two more were injured, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region reported on August 21.

"A report has been received about a traffic accident on the 68th kilometer of the Elista-Minvody highway in the Iki-Buruli district," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that the LADA car overturned. As a result of the incident, one person was killed and two more were injured.

"Employees of the fire and rescue unit No. 12 extracted one victim using a hydraulic rescue tool," the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
