- Doctors in Moscow rescued a woman with serious injuries after falling under a train
Doctors at the Botkin Hospital in Moscow rescued a woman who was hit by a train and suffered multiple injuries. This was announced on Thursday, August 21, by Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Social Development.
According to her, thanks to the new standard of emergency care and the equipping of flagship centers with hybrid operating rooms, the patient was able to provide assistance as quickly as possible, Moscow 24 notes. She noted that thanks to the digital contour of Moscow medicine, doctors received data from the ambulance in advance and prepared for the patient's admission. The diagnosis and multi-stage surgical treatment were carried out in a short time: stopping bleeding, minimally invasive liver surgery, restoration of the collarbone and complex spinal surgery, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
Two weeks later, the woman was discharged under outpatient supervision. After a while, she will return to her usual life, the website writes kp.ru .
