A planned rotation of observers from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has taken place at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). This was announced on August 21 by the station's press service.

"The next scheduled change of inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency has been successfully carried out at the Zaporizhia NPP," wrote the Telegram channel of the NPP.

It is noted that three new specialists have started work. The press service stressed that the IAEA observers have been working at the power plant since September 1, 2022.

"Security during the rotation was provided by the military of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Rosgvardiya and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Zaporozhye region," the statement said.
