The Air Defense Forces shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Belgorod and Rostov regions. This was announced on August 21 by the Ministry of Defense.

"Two Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty over the territories of the Belgorod and Rostov regions," the Telegram channel said in a statement.

It is noted that the attack attempt was stopped between 16:50 and 17:35 Moscow time.

On the same day, it was reported that the air defense system shot down 21 Ukrainian drones over the regions of Russia in the morning. It is noted that 16 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, four over the Sea of Azov and one drone was eliminated over the Black Sea.
