Four people have died as a result of a gas leak at a pharmaceutical company in the Indian state of Maharashtra. This was reported on August 21 by CNN-News18.

"Four workers died as a result of a gas leak at a pharmaceutical plant in the Tarapur industrial zone of Palghar District of Maharashtra state," the publication says.

According to the TV channel, the incident occurred at Medley Pharma, which is located in the Boysar industrial area, about 130 km from Mumbai.

It is specified that six workers were taken to the hospital, four of them died. Two more were placed in the intensive care unit, and they are currently receiving medical care.

The Iranian ISNA news agency reported on July 10 that seven people were injured in a gas explosion in one of the apartment buildings in the Chitgar district in the north of the Iranian capital. It is specified that a gas explosion on one of the floors of the tower completely destroyed the apartment and damaged the neighboring house.
