On August 28, the press center of the Izvestia Multimedia Information Center hosted the signing of a cooperation agreement between Izvestia and the Council for Communications and Citizenship of Nicaragua. The document was signed by Vladimir Tyulin, General Director of the Izvestia News Center, and Daniel Edmundo Ortega Murillo, Media Coordinator of the Council on Communications and Citizenship.
"I would like to thank Mr. Ortega that, despite all the difficulties of recent times, they found the opportunity to come to us and sign this agreement. This is very important to us, and we are grateful for such a friendly attitude. Our approaches to media activities completely coincide.: We adhere to the principles of objectivity and comprehensive coverage of events. Therefore, I am sure that together we will succeed," said Vladimir Tyulin, General Director of Izvestia.
The agreement, in particular, provides for the exchange of information and exclusive materials, joint production of media content, as well as mutual internships for journalists and other interaction in order to share the experience and mutual understanding of the peoples of the two countries.
"For us, Sandinista journalists, it is a real honor to be able to cooperate with Russian journalists and stand up for the truth in these difficult times. It is with great pleasure that we celebrate the signing of this important cooperation agreement between the Nicaraguan Media Council and our brothers, journalists from Russia, representatives of the Izvestia News Center. Together, we will be able to promote the development of communication media in our struggle to protect peace, stability and the Motherland," said Daniel Edmundo Ortega Murillo, Media Coordinator of the Council on Communications and Citizenship of Nicaragua.
The signed agreement will be an important step towards strengthening mutual understanding and trust between Russia and Nicaragua, and will also contribute to a more objective and comprehensive coverage of events in both countries. This cooperation will allow Izvestia and the Council for Communications and Citizenship of Nicaragua to more effectively implement their tasks and expand their audience at the national and international levels. The Council on Communications and Citizenship of Nicaragua includes about 20 of the country's largest publications and radio stations. For Izvestia, this is the first partnership document with the Nicaraguan media.

The Council for Communications and Citizenship of Nicaragua includes about 20 of the country's largest publications and radio stations: TV channels: Canal 4, Canal 6, Canal 8, Canal 13, Canal 15, Canal 51., radio stations: Radio Ya, Radio Sandino, Radio Nicaragua, as well as online publication: El 19 Digital.
