Almost 240 thousand tons of grain were harvested in the Moscow region

Farmers have harvested almost 240 thousand tons of grain as part of the harvesting campaign in the Moscow region. This is reported by the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the region.

Harvesting was carried out on an area of 56.3 thousand hectares, which is a third of the crops. The yield was 42.4 hundredweight per hectare.

Winter crops produced almost 193 thousand tons of grain, while spring crops produced 19.7 thousand tons.

Farmers also plan to increase potato production to 557 thousand tons.

In the Krasnodar Territory in 2025, the harvest decreased by about 20% due to drought. An emergency regime was in effect in nine districts of Kuban, which will allow the villagers to receive compensation.
