Sea warming in the resorts of Kuban lags behind the norm

In the Krasnodar Territory, the sea water off the coast of resort areas is cool for August. In the Black Sea, the maximum temperature is no higher than +27 degrees, in the Sea of Azov it is even lower — +23 ... +25 degrees. These are the data from the hydrometeorological center.

According to KrasnodarMedia news agency, the warmest water is now in the Black Sea resorts of Sochi and Tuapse. The water temperature there reaches +27. The water in Gelendzhik and Novorossiysk is one degree colder. In Anapa, where a ban on swimming was imposed, the water warmed up to +25 degrees.

On the coast of the Sea of Azov in Yeysk, the water temperature does not exceed +25 degrees. In Primorsko-Akhtarsk, the water is one degree colder, while in Temryuk it is only +23.

Meteorologists predict that the short-term rains that will take place in the region in the coming days will not significantly affect the temperature regime. At the end of the week, it will continue to be hot in most areas of Kuban, up to +35 degrees.
