Two victims of an accident with a teenager in Primorye were transferred to intensive care

The Ministry of Health of Primorsky Krai clarified the condition of six victims of an accident with a 13-year-old teenager. Two children were transferred to the intensive care unit. Two more injured children, as well as two adults, are in the surgical department with moderate injuries.

This is reported by PrimaMedia news agency with reference to the press service of the regional department.

The accident occurred in Dalnerechensk, Primorsky Krai, on the evening of August 20. The Daihatsu Terios Kid car, driven by a 13-year-old girl, left the roadway on Pervomaiskaya Street and crashed into a tree. As a result, one person was killed and six were injured in various degrees of severity. Four of the injured are minors.

All the injured were promptly taken to the Dalnerechensk central city hospital. A team of doctors conducted an emergency examination. The condition of the victims was stabilized during the first day. Based on the results of the doctors' consultation, it was decided to transfer six patients to regional medical institutions. An evacuation has been organized. The patients were referred to Vladivostok Clinical Hospital No. 2 and Vladivostok Children's Clinical Hospital No. 1.

A criminal case has been opened against the teenager's mother under the article "Causing death by negligence." The investigation believes that it was she who handed over control of the vehicle to the child.
