Russian President Vladimir Putin received Indian Foreign Minister Subramanyam Jaishankar in the Kremlin. This was announced by the Kremlin's press service on August 21.

"Vladimir Putin received in the Kremlin the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, Chairman of the Indian part of the intergovernmental Russian-Indian commission on trade, Economic, Scientific, technical and Cultural cooperation Subramanyam Jaishankar," reads a statement posted on the Kremlin's website.
