The Presnensky Court of Moscow will consider the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office (GP) of the Russian Federation on the conversion of movable and immovable property of former Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov with a total value of 1.2 billion rubles to the state income. This is evidenced by the department's statement of claim on August 21.

This lawsuit is part of the systematic work of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation to combat corruption in the country and compensate the state for the damage caused by corruption—related crimes. The system was built on personal instructions and is under the personal supervision of the Prosecutor General of Russia Igor Krasnov.

It is specified that in the period from 2016 to 2024, the income of Ivanov and his wife, with whom he was married until 2022, amounted to 274.8 million rubles. During the searches, money and expensive luxury items, as well as valuables, were seized from him. It is noted that 170 pieces of jewelry, 30 paintings of cultural value, 10 books, 26 weapons, and 44 watches are among the seized items.

According to the lawsuit, Ivanov also registered 15 expensive real estate properties in his property. Their total cadastral value is 235.1 million rubles. It is noted that he owns, among other things, the 1949 ZIS 110 cars (150 thousand rubles), the 2017 Harley-Davidson XL1200CX motorcycle (1.1 million rubles). In addition, Ivanov is the actual owner of the companies Dvoryanskoe Gnezdo LLC, Volzhsky Bereg LLC and Hermes-Techno LLC, as well as their property.

In particular, the father of the ex-deputy minister received property, the total value of which exceeds 12.5 million rubles. Among the objects are the Cadillac Escalade of 2021 (9.6 million rubles), MV Agusta Brutale 800 dragster RVS 1 of 2018 (2.6 million rubles), Triumph Thunderbird storm ABS of 2012 (200 thousand rubles).

Ivanov issued property worth over 31.2 million rubles to his ex-wife, including a 2004 Bentley Continental GT (3.5 million rubles), a 2020 Mercedes-Benz C220D 4Matic (6.1 million rubles), a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban (7 million rubles), and a 2023 Chevrolet Express (14.6 million rubles).

In addition, the former deputy head of the Russian Defense Ministry registered the property in his driver's name. The Gaz 13 of 1967 (200 thousand rubles) and the 2012 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG (1 million rubles) are among the objects registered for it.

The former deputy minister was detained on April 23, 2024. Ivanov is charged with accepting a bribe in the amount of 1,185 billion rubles. According to investigators, he entered into a criminal conspiracy with the heads of contractors working at the facilities of the Ministry of Defense, and concluded contracts with them in exchange for personal remuneration.

On July 1, Ivanov was sentenced to 13 years in a penal colony. In addition, Ivanov was sentenced to a fine of 100 million rubles, deprived of the state award and the title of Honored Builder of the Russian Federation. The second person involved in the case, Ivanov's ex-subordinate Anton Filatov, was sentenced by the court to 12.5 years in a penal colony and a fine of 25 million rubles.
