Cases of fraud of shareholders during the construction of two residential complexes have been initiated in St. Petersburg.

Criminal cases have been opened in St. Petersburg on the facts of fraudulent actions during the construction of two residential complexes (LCCs) under equity participation agreements. This was announced on August 21 by the press service of the regional directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"Residents of St. Petersburg are actively discussing in the media the issue of violating the deadlines for the delivery of residential buildings to the shareholders of the residential complex Novoe Kolpino and the residential complex Kurortny Kvartal. This situation has caused concern among citizens, and therefore it has been taken over by the leadership of the General Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city of St. Petersburg," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.
