The new commander of the North group reported to Belousov on its technical equipment.

Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov held a meeting and set tasks at the North command post. This was announced on August 21 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"The commander of the group, Colonel-General Yevgeny Nikiforov, reported to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation on the issues of equipping the group's units with modern weapons and military equipment and its modernization, taking into account the experience of combat use during military operations," the message says.

It is noted that Belousov was presented with UAVs capable of providing remote mining of the area and destroying armored objects.
