The Russian Armed Forces launched a group attack on Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises and energy facilities at night

At night, Russian military personnel carried out a group strike with precision weapons and attack drones against enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC) and energy facilities on the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on August 21.

"A group strike was carried out with precision weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles against enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, energy facilities that ensure their operation," the ministry said.

It is specified that in addition, the military airfield infrastructure, the positions of operational and tactical missile systems, as well as ammunition depots and property of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were hit.

In addition, Russian fighters attacked drone production and storage sites, temporary locations of Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries in 153 districts.

Russia's air defense systems, in turn, shot down four guided aerial bombs and 294 aircraft-type drones.

Earlier that day, a crew of drones of the Tula Guards Airborne Unit from the North group of forces destroyed three cargo hexacopters and a reconnaissance UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region. It was clarified that during the reconnaissance activities, the UAV operator noticed a Baba-Yaga hexacopter of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. After assessing the situation, the drone operator decided to attack the Ukrainian equipment.
