The expert gave tips on reducing costs when ordering furniture
Making complex orders, searching for alternative materials, components, as well as studying offers during seasonal ones will significantly reduce costs when ordering furniture according to individual parameters. This was announced on August 21 by Sergey Shikhov, General Director of the interior company Mr.Doors.
According to the expert, the rising cost of materials and components, the need to modernize equipment, as well as increased personnel costs are the main factors influencing the rise in furniture prices.
"One of the main factors significantly influencing the increase in furniture prices has been and remains the increase in the cost of materials and components. Most of the high—quality fittings, for example, are still supplied from abroad, which entails significant logistical costs," he said.
An additional factor influencing the price increase is the need to modernize production facilities. In recent years, the largest Russian manufacturers have begun to develop rapidly to meet the emerging demand, and this implies the improvement of the machine tool fleet, the lion's share of which remain imported.
Also, one of the factors influencing the increase in furniture prices is the increase in personnel policy costs.
"In a situation of shortage of qualified specialists in various fields, large manufacturing companies tend to review motivation programs to retain existing employees, as well as to find new ones. It is impossible not to take into account the growth of rental costs, which the major players with the federal representation of salons cannot ignore," Shikhov summed up.
In February, Orekhov gave advice on carrying out high-quality repairs. The choice of materials plays a key role, the expert emphasized. In his opinion, it is worth paying attention not only to their price, but also to compliance with the operating conditions.
