A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike with precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, providing them with energy facilities, military airfield infrastructure, positions of operational and tactical missile systems, as well as ammunition depots and property of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). All designated targets were successfully hit.

In addition, tactical aircraft, attack drones, missile forces and artillery of the Russian Army defeated the production, storage and launch sites of long-range UAVs, as well as temporary locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mercenaries in 153 districts. The Air Defense Forces, in turn, shot down four guided aerial bombs and 294 aircraft-type drones.

Units of the Southern Group of Forces liberated the settlement of Alexandro-Shultino in the DPR. As a result of the group's actions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost up to 240 militants, an armored combat vehicle, two pickup trucks and two field artillery guns. Four ammunition and materiel depots were also destroyed.At the same time, the units of the Vostok group continued to advance deep into the enemy's defenses, while the Zapad and Center groups improved their lines and positions.

"Units of the North group of forces defeated the manpower and equipment of two mechanized, amphibious assault, two assault brigades and two assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Novaya Guta, Andreevka, Novaya Sich, Proletarskoye, Katerinovka, Varachino, Sadki and Yunakovka of the Sumy region. In the Kharkiv direction, units of the mechanized and motorized infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Gatische and Volchansk in the Kharkiv region," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

In total, during the special operation, the Kiev regime lost 665 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 78,728 UAVs, 625 anti-aircraft missile systems, 24,697 tanks and other armored personnel carriers, 1,588 combat vehicles with multiple launch rocket systems, 28,772 field artillery and mortars, as well as 40,095 units of special military vehicles.
