Air defense systems shot down 21 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the morning The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the regions of Russia. This was announced on August 21 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"In the period from 07:00 to 10:00 Moscow time, 21 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a Telegram channel message.
