The United States will send musician Brandon Howard to Intervision 2025, the organizers of the contest told Izvestia on August 21. The hip-hop artist of the hits Dancefloor and Super Model will compete for 30 million rubles with 20 more participants from around the world.

The singer and composer, also known as B. Howard, grew up in a musical family. His grandmother, Josephine Howard, sang in the American band The Caravans, and Howard's mother Miki was a successful soul singer and songwriter.

For a long time, it has been discussed in the media that Brandon is the illegitimate son of pop king Michael Jackson. Rumors about this appeared in the American media 15 years ago, and have not been refuted since. Indirect evidence is Mika Howard's affair with Michael Jackson in the early 1980s. And Brandon was born in 1981.

Over the years, Brandon Howard has released many singles that have entered the top of reputable charts, including the iconic Billboard 200. In 2010, collaborating with other artists, he released the anthem for the World Cup in South Africa, Ke Nako, as a tribute to Nelson Mandela.

The final of Intervision will be held in Moscow on September 20, 2025 at the Live Arena. Representatives of 21 countries will take part in the competition. These are mainly the BRICS, CIS, Latin American and Middle Eastern countries. Honored Artist of Russia SHAMAN (real name Yaroslav Dronov) is participating from Russia with Maxim Fadeev's song "Straight to the Heart".

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
