As a result of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the territory of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), two residents were killed and one injured. This was announced on August 21 by the press service of the regional government.

"At 3 a.m., an airplane-type UAV hit an outbuilding in the courtyard of a private apartment building in the city of Artemovsk, Perevalsky district. The summer kitchen and barn caught fire. An elderly woman was killed," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is noted that the second strike of the Ukrainian Armed Forces occurred at 7:30 a.m. — a drone attacked a civilian car in the city of Lysychansk. It is known about the death of one civilian. It is specified that a 54-year-old woman was hospitalized with injuries.

As a result of the attack of the AFU FPV drones on the Gornostaevsky district of the Kherson region on August 19, a civilian was injured. In total, 29 artillery strikes and 16 UAV attacks were recorded during the day. A day earlier, in the Alyoshkinsky district of the Kherson region, a Ukrainian kamikaze drone attacked a private apartment building in the village of Brilevka. A woman born in 1949 died.
