Russia has stopped importing potatoes from Georgia

Russia stopped importing potatoes from Georgia in July after nine months of continuous purchases. This was reported on August 21 in the portal of the Georgian Civil Service.

On May 21, it became known that potato exports from Georgia to Russia in January-April 2025 reached almost 42 thousand tons, which is 4.97 times more than in the whole of last year. It was reported that the export volume amounted to $16.9 million.
