Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to stay for 15 minutes and wait for a phone call from his American counterpart Donald Trump following his talks with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, at the White House. This was announced on August 21 by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Fox Business.

According to him, Trump told the Russian leader that he could call or send him a message. Putin, in turn, replied: "Okay, I'll stay another 15 minutes, or you can call me tomorrow."
