On August 21, goalkeeper of the CSKA football club Igor Akinfeev shared his goals for the development of the Igor Akinfeev Cup international children's tournament named after him.

"Of course, we are developing, and there is a goal to develop more and more. Playing at the Khimki Arena is a great help. There were CSKA championships and Champions League matches. It's a dream to bring your tournament to this stadium," said the goalkeeper.

Akinfeev noted that he strives to make the tournament multinational and invite teams from Brazil, Argentina and other countries to the competition.

Earlier, on February 20, 2024, it was reported that Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova will serve as general manager at her school, which will be built in Kazan. It is noted that Zagitova has her own team, which will take care of the school's facilities. It is also planned to invite specialists from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
