The crew of the frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov of the Russian Pacific Fleet fired high-precision Kalibr and Uran cruise missiles in the Sea of Japan. This was announced on August 21 by the press service of the Pacific Fleet.

The footage published by the agency shows the announcement of a training alert before launch, the preparations and work of the crew, as well as the flight of anti-ship ammunition.

It is specified that as a result, the naval target assigned as part of the training was hit.

On August 19, the Caspian Flotilla of the Russian Navy (RF Navy) launched a bilateral tactical training exercise with the development of tasks for the purpose in the offshore combat training grounds of the Caspian Sea. At the first stage of the ZTU, the crews of the ships carried out emergency preparations for combat and left the base for the dispersal areas.
