The Russian government has established a new list of restrictions on driving. This list includes mental illnesses and eye diseases. The document was published on August 21 on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
According to the document, the list of diseases includes such disorders of psychological development as autism, Rett and Asperger's syndromes. Among eye diseases, color vision abnormalities are noted — partial color blindness, distorted perception of red and green colors.
It is noted that the list of medical indications was approved back in April.
Earlier, on August 16, Leonid Olshansky, vice president of the Russian Motorists Movement, announced that starting from September 1, the fee for obtaining a driver's license in the Russian Federation would increase to 4 thousand rubles. In addition, in September, the state duty for issuing a plastic STS is expected to increase, now the amount will be 4.5 thousand rubles. Also, the amount of payment for a new generation driver's license will increase to 6 thousand rubles, for issuing a license plate for a car — up to 3 thousand rubles, for certificates of admission to the transportation of dangerous goods — up to 2,250 rubles.
