The State Duma spoke about the negotiations on security guarantees of the Russian Federation

Moscow and Washington are closer to "necessary solutions," Vladimir Putin said after the summit in Alaska.

"It may take a long time to determine Europe's unified position. They are forced to look back at Washington's position, while differences between Trump and the leaders of key EU countries are constantly emerging," the deputy told Izvestia.

Earlier it became known that the chiefs of the NATO general staffs held an online meeting on Ukraine, discussing the results of the summit in Alaska and negotiations with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and European leaders in Washington.
