Two children are missing as a result of the sinking of a boat in Turkey
Two children disappeared while the fiber boat "Demirkhan" sank near the town of Mugla in Turkey. This was reported on August 20 by CNN Turk.
"Off the coast of Eren, a fiber-optic boat called Demirkhan with eight people on board sank... An air and sea search and rescue operation has been launched to find two missing children," the publication says.
It is noted that six people were able to escape and swim ashore.
The cause and other circumstances of the incident are currently being determined.
Earlier, on June 29, in the Chelyabinsk region, two people drowned while boating on a lake. It is reported that the child stood on the edge of the boat, causing it to capsize. Eyewitnesses were able to rescue the boy, two men were found on the surface of the water 20 m from the shore.
